Forest Highlands
Forest Highlands is Flagstaff’s premier private golf community, nestled in a serene Ponderosa pine forest just minutes from downtown. This gated enclave features two nationally ranked, Tom Weiskopf-designed championship golf courses: the rugged Canyon Course and the scenic, walkable Meadow Course.

The Meadow Course
The Meadow Course at Forest Highlands is a scenic, Tom Weiskopf–designed 18-hole, par‑72 layout that debuted in 1999. Stretching over 7,300 yards, it winds through a sprawling 45-acre meadow dotted with lakes, wetlands, wildflowers, and stately pines—creating a serene, walkable parkland experience. Known for its gentle terrain, panoramic views of the San Francisco Peaks (especially from holes 14 and 15), and a mix of strategic and approachable holes—including a driveable par‑4—it consistently ranks among Arizona’s top courses.
The Canyon Course
The Canyon Course at Forest Highlands is a nationally acclaimed, Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish-designed masterpiece that winds through dramatic canyons, dense pine forests, and natural mountain terrain. Known for its challenging layout, elevation changes, and breathtaking views, the par-71 course demands precision and rewards strategic play. With signature holes like the dramatic downhill 9th and the risk-reward 17th, the Canyon Course offers a thrilling golf experience in a truly majestic setting.
