South Rural Properties
Located about 15 minutes south of Flagstaff on Interstate 17 are the communities of Kachina Village and Mountainaire. These quaint mountain cabin communities are perfect for second homes or for full-time residents who want to be away from the city. Pine Dell is a small neighborhood of homes just south of the Highway 89 interchange with Interstate 17.
LAKE MARY ROAD CORRIDOR
Lake Mary Road is the main highway southeast to Payson Arizona. Within the first five miles out of Flagstaff are these neighborhood communities. Many homes have acreage. The location is very close to the two Lake Marys (upper and lower). Fishing and kayaking are popular sports here in the summer. Mormon Lake is farther out Lake Mary Road. On the west side of Mormon Lake (practically dried up) is Mormon Lake Village. This is a popular place for summer homes and camping. The Mormon Lake Lodge is a great restaurant and saloon.
MUNDS PARK
About 30 minutes south of Flagstaff on Interstate 17 is this small community popular for second homes of people who want to escape the heat of the Phoenix area. Munds Park has a beautiful golf course and a "Tiny House" community as well as many other cabin/mountain homes with adjacent hiking/biking trails.
